About this event

About the FBOA Training:
"Residential Plan Review 101". -This course will review the differences between the 2019 Residential Code of Ohio and the model 2024 IRC to highlight what details should be provided on the construction plans nd what expectation staff should have for projects demonstrating energy efficiency and overall compliance with the model residential codes. Course attendees will review sample plans for adequate detail, review components for compliance with the prescriptive and mandatory requirements of the code; and identify how alternative compliance paths can affect the details provided to the building department throughout the construction process. -  6 hours of ICC and AIA credit will be provided.
