The OBOA Foundation was formed in 2020 as a 501(c)(3) to promote education of those within the building industry, including assisting those wanting to enter the industry as designers, builders, skilled trades, code administrators, building owners and operators. Trustees of the OBOA foundation are the elected or appointed officers of the Ohio Building Officials Association and shall be the president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and immediate past president. The immediate goal of the OBOA Foundation is to raise approximately $100,000 to finance annual scholarships through investment earnings.
